Tom Hayhoe
Tom was appointed as chairman of West London Mental NHS Trust in April 2015. He was formerly a chairman of West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust and before that deputy chairman of Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow Health Authority. He has served on west London NHS boards since 1985. Tom has a keen interest in sports and has competed at national and international level in Sailing.
Manoj Gautam
Head of Clinical Exercise at West London Mental NHS Trust, managing a team of 10 Exercise Specialists to deliver sports and exercise for staff and mental health users at Ealing site. Tennis Level 4 coach specialising in performance and elite tennis. Individual Coach to former female national Junior Number 1 ranked player and has coached at a number of high profile clubs such as the exclusive Hurlingham club in Fulham and the Royal Berkshire Health and Racquets club.
Kevin Sasso
Level 2 qualified FA coach for the last 6 years. Been coaching and managing all aspects of the West London FC team for over 8 years. Worked closely in collaboration with QPR in the Community Trust and PMA League. Qualified in Accounts and worked for Rethink Mental Illness as a Mental Health Recovery Worker. Currently employed as a Peer Support Worker at West London NHS Trust.
Exercise Team
Permjit Sahota
Lead Exercise Specialist at West London NHS Trust delivering sports and exercise for staff and mental health users at Ealing site. Permjit is a graduate, with years of experience in delivering BACPR Cardiac Rehabilitation programmes. Permjit is a qualified tutor/assessment manager for delivering sports leaders. He is trained first aid trainer/assessor and a tutor on a high level gym supervision course taught to healthcare staff.
Lewis White
Lewis is an Exercise Specialist trained and certified as a Level 3 Advanced Gym Maintenance Technician. Lewis is responsible for the servicing and maintenance of a number of high profile gyms within the London area and is additionally trained to conduct complex diagnosis and repairs to gym equipment. Lewis has over 10 years’ experience within the fitness industry.
Emmanuel Olatayo
Emmanuel is the Lead Exercise Specialist at West London NHS Trust, delivering sports and exercise for mental health users and staff at the Ealing site. Emmanuel has a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and a master degree in Sports Therapy. Emmanuel is responsible for delivering football session to mental health service users and basketball session to staff and service users at St. Bernard’s gym. He is also responsible for delivering high level gym supervision course to healthcare staff.
Annie King
As an Exercise Specialist in the NHS, Annie has leveraged her extensive background in high-level volleyball to promote health and rehabilitation through tailored exercise programs. Her experience as a competitive athlete has instilled a deep understanding of physical performance and injury prevention, which she applies when collaboratively designing personalized fitness plans for patients. She is passionate about empowering individuals to improve their health and well-being, using her skills to educate and motivate them to embrace an active lifestyle. By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, she ensures that her patients receive comprehensive care that supports their recovery and overall fitness goals.
Exercise Project Team
Karim Hasnaini
Karim leverages his extensive project management skills to effectively coordinate multidisciplinary initiatives, bringing together diverse teams from various fields. Karim is responsible for writing bids and proposals, coordinating projects, and presenting project deliverables to senior stakeholders. As an Exercise Specialist Project Manager in the NHS, Karim has combined his passion for health and fitness with a solid background in project management gained from his experience in multinational corporations. His competitive tennis background has provided him with a strong understanding of physical conditioning, mental resilience, and teamwork.
Sian Price
Sian is a Project Manager within the Exercise and Sport team at West London Forensic Services. and oversees project work for West London Community Sports. Sian has a background in Sport and Exercise Science and a holds a Master’s in Sports Rehabilitation. She has worked in the NHS for 4 years and in sports for 10 years through a mix of coaching in the community and schools and holding advanced trauma care in sport training to deliver pitch side medical cover. She also delivers a high level gym supervision course to healthcare staff within Mental Health settings.
