Gym Supervision Training to Healthcare Staff:
People living with severe mental illness (SMI) face one of the greatest health inequality gaps in England and worldwide. The life expectancy for people with SMI is 15–20 years lower than the general population. This disparity in health outcomes is partly due to physical health needs being overlooked. Individuals with SMI also have double the risk of obesity and diabetes, three times the risk of hypertension and metabolic syndrome, and five times the risk of dyslipidemia (imbalance of lipids in the bloodstream) than the general population.

Sports Coaching Qualifications for Mental Health Patients (Open to All):
Unemployment and mental health problems appear to have a causal link both ways. People with mental health problems are much less likely to be in paid employment. Data on welfare benefit claims shows that mental health problems are keeping large numbers of people out of the workforce. Many reports have highlighted the lack of work and educational opportunities for people with mental health history: In relation to work, those with forensic mental health issues report concerns with discrimination, dis-empowerment, and lack of up to date work related skills, low self-confidence, criminal convictions and no recent track record of employment
